2 New Agents Seeking Submissions NOW
Click on any name below to see the full mini-profile on the GLA Blog (with submission instructions). Good luck querying!
1. Maximilian Ximenez of L. Perkins Agency
He is seeking: Maximilian is actively pursuing clients for both fiction and nonfiction works. In fiction, he is acquiring science fiction, fantasy, horror, and thrillers, particularly cyberpunk and neo-noir as well as books with a uniquely deconstructive bent. For nonfiction, Maximilian is seeking popular science, true crime, and books pertaining to arts and trends in developing fields and cultures.
2. Hannah Fergesen of KT Literary
She is seeking : "I'm looking for young adult and middle-grade, as well as some select adult fiction. In young adult and middle-grade, I'm looking for speculative and contemporary stories, running the gamut from fantasy, mystery, horror, and magical realism to family-oriented dramas, historical fiction, and stories dealing with contemporary issues, such as mental health or addiction. I'm also very interested in finding a good, twisty mystery or suspense. If it's historical or has a speculative bent, even better. I am into contemporaries with light science fiction elements, as well as pure science fiction with politics and an edge, or a bold reimagining of another time. I'd love to see historical fiction in both young adult and middle-grade. In adult, I want weird and/or lyrical fantasies and speculative mysteries. I'd also love something with a good twist, like DARK PLACES by Gillian Flynn (GONE GIRL less so, but the idea is the same)."

Literary Agents to Query
Here Are 2 new Literary agent query.
Writer Resource July 5 2017
Dear Readers,
Did you have a good 4th of July? (USA readers)
Ours was quiet and somewhat peaceful. The tenants who live in the apartment above ours were noisy beyond reason. They kept throwing hard heavy objects on the floor and running heavily through the apartment. They are all enough to know how to behave.
Well, as for my post. Following is info from an email I found in my inbox. Check it out.

Hello, Everyone!
Summer is here already.

Fight On! Don't Give Up!
I won't give the plot. But this is a basic idea where the story is going. I am writing the novel without using any sex. So far the results are good. I have a really good feeling about this book.
Now for the rest of my post.
Following are details of 3 new literary agents. I got their info from a WRITER'S MARKET email I received this morning.
Gabrielle Piraino
DeFiore and Company
DeFiore and Company
Gabrielle is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a dual-B.A. in Honors Classical Languages and English. After graduation, Gabbie earned her Masters of Science in Publishing at Pace University in Manhattan. She has previously worked for both major commercial publishing houses and literary agencies alike, including Farrar, Strauss & Giroux and AGI Vigliano. Gabbie joined DeFiore and Company in the summer of 2016.
She’s seeking imaginative sci-fi/fantasy, horror, thrillers, and up-market chick lit for Adults and Young Adults alike. For Children’s and Middle Grade, she is looking for stories that introduce curious young readers to new concepts with compelling characters and an engaging voice (fiction and nonfiction).
Further, she’d happily review projects form author-illustrators in the comic/graphic novel arena. An avid personal baker/cook, Gabbie is pleased to accept queries for cookbook and crafty lifestyle projects, too.
Overall, Gabbie is searching for unique narrative voices (OwnVoices, when possible!), strong world-building, and spunky, stubborn characters that never do exactly what you’d expect.

Connor Eck
Lucinda Literary LLC
Lucinda Literary LLC
Prior to finding a home at Lucinda Literary in 2016, Connor began his career at The Weinstein Company and then as a production assistant for CBS Television Studios. He majored in English at Union College, where he was quarterback and captain of the football team and wrote a screenplay for his thesis that became a finalist selection at the Woods Hole Film Festival.
Westchester, NY, born and bred, Connor makes the most of his daily commute, reading queries and editing manuscripts on the train, though he doesn’t quite fit in amongst the throng of bankers. When he is not reading or writing, he most enjoys playing with his dog, Cash, an Aussiedoodle with one blue eye.
In addition to working at Lucinda Literary, Connor is a freelance writer for golf.com, where you can catch him moderating live major championship blogs.
He is actively looking for middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction, as well as nonfiction. His interests are diverse, though he is particularly drawn to stories with emotional resonance and vivid characters. More than anything he is looking for authors with whom he can build lasting relationships.

Happy Spring!
Happy spring, everyone!
I'm still here. I have been so busy working on my books. I'm doing an office romance novel and a young adult horror novel. They are both coming along fine and look promising. I've finally got plots agents are interested in.
How has everyone been doing? Please use this post to make comments about yourselves.

New Literary Agents April 20 2017
Hello, Everyone!
I know you're saying: "Who are you now?"
I've been very busy. I'm working on a new novel. I was advised to right a romance. The market is looking for unique romances. I have a pretty good story going, and I am working to complete it by the end of June. As long as I stay on track I'll meet this goal. That is why I have not been making post. Plus I have been working with clients.
Today I want to take the time to tell you about 3 new literary agents. Click on the link below to view their info:

We have been having a lot of rain here in the Washington state, which is fine water wise. Maybe our water bills will go down.
